Abstract: Current reports from several studies show that pregnant women with endometriosis have a higher risk of obstetric complications. It is worth remembering that because the vast majority of endometriosis patients are infertile, it is relevant to consider that a good portion of these pregnancies are assisted reproduction (AR). Our study through PUBMED article searches aims to review existing and updated literature on this subject. Most of the results showed that there is a higher risk of cesarean sections, prenatal hemorrhages, preterm births and rarely spontaneous bowel perforation and spontaneous bleeding in pregnant women.
