Every research work demands a deep knowledge of its object of research on the part of the researcher. In the case of the interdisciplinary relations in the teaching of Mathematics, the analysis of its historical trends is of paramount importance because it brings to light the logic of its development. So, the authors of this article focus the attention on the evolution of the teaching-learning process of Mathematics through the development of interdisciplinary relations in the period from 1975 to 2008. They also analyze the specific features of this process, which do not function in the same way taking into account the indicators established at the time of studying its object of research.
