¿Existe relación entre el apoyo familiar y el dolor crónico? Una Revisión bibliográfica

[eng] Introduction: Pain has been defined as an interaction of homeostatic systems which have response to a threat. Chronic pain is an experience that changes the environment of patients, having an influence in their quality of life and on their relationships. The social support is a coping resource that can help patients to improve their situation. Objectives: The intention is to revise the bibliography found about social support and family support and chronic pain, and to determine the relationship between them. Methods: It has been done a search using the filter in topic “Chronic pain” AND “Social support” in google scholar and the scientific bases available in the UIB digital library. There has been chosen the articles and systematic reviews associated with the topic, following exclusion criteria. Conclusion: There are relationship between social support and family support and the experience of pain in patients with chronic pain. There has been revised the investigation in general population, women and children, getting comparable results, but there hasn’t got the same results in the teenager population.[spa] Introducción: El dolor ha sido definido como una interacción de sistemas homeostáticos que responden a una amenaza. El dolor crónico, es una experiencia que cambia el entorno de los pacientes, influyendo en su calidad de vida y en sus relaciones. El apoyo social es un recurso de afrontamiento que puede ayudar a los pacientes a mejorar su situación. Objetivos: Se pretende revisar la bibliografía hallada sobre el apoyo social y familiar y el dolor crónico y determinar las relaciones existentes entre ambos. Metodología: Se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica filtrando por tema “Chronic pain” AND “Social support” en google académico y en las bases científicas disponibles en la biblioteca digital de la UIB. Se han obtenido los artículos y revisiones sistemáticas relacionadas con el tema, siguiendo unos criterios de exclusión. Conclusiones: Existen relaciones entre el apoyo social y familiar y la sensación de dolor en pacientes con dolor crónico. Se han revisado los estudios en población general, población femenina e infantil obteniendo resultados similares, pero no se han obtenido los mismos resultados en la población adolescente
