Organic light emitting devices (OLED) based on a ruthenium complex with indium tin oxide anodes and laminated Au cathodes were fabricated. It was observed light emission was uniform over the whole device surface which indicates high quality mechanical and electrical contacts. It was also observed that the devices show no rectification which indicates that laminated contact was ohmic. The results show that the external quantum efficiency of the devices was 0.6%
