Abstract. Teacher Language Style in Teaching-Learning Interaction. This study aims at describing, interpreting, and explaining the teacher language use in the teaching-learning interaction. This study employed critical discourse analysis (CDA). Research data were collected through recording, documentation, field notes, questionnaires, and interviews. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman path model. The results showed that the language styles used by the teachers in the teaching-learning interaction are mostly such styles as cynicism, hyperbolic, sarcasm, and euphemism. Abstrak.
