European Law in the Context of Employment

This thesis aims to describe the topic of European Union law in relation to labour law, social security and taxation of personal income from employment. The first part deals with the regulations through which the European Union regulates the working conditions of employees. In the second part, attention is paid to the coordination of social security systems. The third area that affects employment, and which is the content of the last part of the thesis, is the taxation of workers' income. The specific conditions within these areas, and the way in which they are affected by European law, are given on the examples of the Czech Republic and Austria.Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem práva Evropské unie v souvislosti s pracovním právem, sociálním zabezpečením a zdaněním příjmů fyzických osob ze zaměstnání. První část pojednává o předpisech, prostřednictvím kterých upravuje Evropská unie pracovní podmínky zaměstnanců. Ve druhé části je pozornost věnována koordinaci systémů sociálního zabezpečení. Třetí oblastí, která se zaměstnávání dotýká, a která je obsahem poslední části práce, je zdanění příjmů pracovníků. Konkrétní podmínky v rámci těchto oblastí, a způsob, jakým je ovlivňuje evropské právo, jsou uvedeny na příkladu České republiky a Rakouska
