The aim of this thesis is a strategic analysis of the brewery Hostivar. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there is an outline of concepts and methods of strategic analysis, in the practical part these methods are used on the company Pivo Hostivar a.s. The external factors were composed with these methods: PESTLE analysis, Description of the field, Competition analysis, the Map of the competition forces and Porter´s five forces. On the contrary the internal analysis contains these methods: Internal sources of the company, VRIO analysis, Financial analysis, Value chain and Portfolio analysis.
