In 2018, a global deal between Nestle and Starbucks was closed. Nestle acquired exclusive rights to sell products with the Starbucks label in retail. The products were introduced on the Czech market on September 2019. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether coffee consumers noticed the appearance of Starbucks coffee products in grocery stores. The theoretical part defines key concepts and knowledge from specialized articles and literature related to this issue. In the practical part, the coffee market in the Czech Republic is introduced via the analysis of secondary data.
