Analysis of the development of interregional socio-economic disparities in the Czech Republic with regard to the growing importance of the polarization of Prague in the period 2000 to 2019

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the development of interregional desparities in the Czech Republic in the period 2000 to 2019 in terms of the position of Prague. The theoretical part deals with basic aspects related to the study of regional disparities. The practical part deals with the development of individual socio-economic indicators, which clarify the polarization tendencies in the period 2000-2019 at the level of regions and the capital city of Prague. The result of the work is an assessment of the intensity and consequences of the examined disparities and finding out which factors contribute to their origin and deepening.Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit vývoj meziregionálních disparit v ČR v období 2000 až 2019 z hlediska postavení Prahy. Teoretická část se věnuje základním hlediskám, spojenými se zkoumáním regionálních disparit. Praktická část se věnuje vývoji jednotlivých socioekonomických ukazatelů, které ozřejmují polarizační tendence v období 2000-2019 na úrovni krajů a hlavního města Prahy. Výsledkem práce je posouzení intenzity a důsledků zkoumaných disparit a zjištění, které faktory se na jejich vzniku a prohlubování podílejí
