Strategic analysis of company VOLCANO Spa Hotel, s.r.o.

The bachelor thesis carries out a strategic analysis of a hotel complex VOLCANO Spa Hotel, s.r.o. The aim of this thesis is to detect the strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats of the company. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the analysis of macro-environmental and micro-environmental factors, analysis of internal factors and also defines SWOT analysis. The practical part of the thesis introduces the company and its place in the market segment and highlights its current situation and the events. Those analyses deal not only with the standard situation in the market segment, but also emphasizes current events and the crisis that is now happening in the world. The methods used to carry out the analyses are mainly direct observing and communicating personally with higher management representatives. The summary of all used analyses offers possible solutions to increase economic efficiency of the whole complex as well as to moderate the impacts of a crisis.V této bakalářské práci je provedena strategická analýza pro hotelový komplex VOLCANO Spa Hotel, s.r.o. Cílem práce je odhalit silné a slabé stránky podniku a upozornit na hrozby a příležitosti. v teoretické časti jsou definovány analýzy makrookolí, mikrookolí, vnitřních faktorů podniku a sjednocující analýza SWOT. Praktická část uvádí podnik do kontextu svého tržního segmentu a klade důraz na aktuální dění. Analýzy se kromě standardní situace v odvětví zabývají i aktuálně probíhající celosvětovou krizí. Metodami prováděných analýz je zejména pozorování zúčastněné přímé a osobní konzultace s vyšším vedením podniku. Shrnutí těchto analýz nabízí možná řešení na zvýšení ekonomické výkonnosti celého komplexu a zmírnění dopadů krizového stavu
