This thesis focuses on the issue of inventory in selected FMCG company. First, the theoretical part introduces the function of planning with respect of its subject – demand planning and supply planning. There is also a brief introduction of the warehouses and system of Key Performance Identifiers, KPI. In the practical part I am focused on the supplies. I analyze stocks, first from the point of view of volume than from the point of view of coverage. Finally, I deal with the overall analysis of stocks created based on the basis of Paret´s analysis.
