Engaging Disabled People

This diploma thesis solves questions from the economic point of view of companies that decide to employ people with disabilities. The subject of this work is the employment of persons with disabilities in South Bohemia. The goal of the thesis is to find out the possible advantages and disadvantages of companies from the employment of people with disabilities, state support, the obligations of companies and the employment of persons with disabilities in the labour market. The work is supported by two distinct companies CENTES, spol. s r.o. and NAVEL, spol. s r.o., where specific calculations and examples are given when companies decide to become employers recognized in a protected labour market. In order to achieve answers for the researched issue, the thesis uses a questionnaire for companies, a controlled interview with a human resources manager of specific companies is also applied, and data analysis of these companies is also performed. Important criteria for evaluation were set as state support, difficulty of work performed in companies and degree of disability, benefits of employment of people with disabilities. The conclusion is to find substitutability of people with disabilities in companies, individual benefits, but also possible undesirable factors associated with this issue.Tato diplomová práce řeší otázky z ekonomického pohledu firem, které se rozhodují zaměstnávat osoby se zdravotním postižením. Předmětem práce je zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením v jižních Čechách. Cílem práce je zjistit možné výhody a nevýhody plynoucí firmám ze zaměstnávání zdravotně postižených osob, podpora státu, povinnosti firem a uplatnění osob se zdravotním postižením na trhu práce. Práce je podpořena dvěma konkrétními firmami CENTES, spol. s r.o. a NAVEL, spol. s r.o., kde jsou uvedeny konkrétní výpočty a příklady v případě, že se firmy rozhodnou stát zaměstnavateli uznanými na chráněném trhu práce. K dosažení odpovědí pro zkoumanou problematiku je v diplomové práci použit dotazník pro firmy, také je aplikován řízený rozhovor s personalistkou konkrétních společností a zároveň je provedena analýza dat těchto společností. Důležitá kritéria pro hodnocení byla stanovena jako podpora státu, obtížnost, náročnost prováděné práce firem a stupeň invalidity, výhody zaměstnávání zdravotně postižených osob. Závěrem práce je nalezení zastupitelnosti zdravotně postižených osob ve firmách, jednotlivých přínosů, ale také možných nežádoucích činitelů spojených s touto problematikou
