La présente étude poursuit la dynamique de recherche archéobotanique initiée par la Mission archéologique française depuis 1976 sur le site néolithique précéramique de Khirokitia, situé au sud-est de l’île de Chypre. Elle vise à réaliser une première analyse intra-site des pratiques d’exploitation et d’utilisation des ressources végétales sur la base de résultats carpologiques publiés et originaux, couvrant aujourd’hui la totalité de la séquence du site, sur près d’un millénaire d’occupation (ca. 6800-5500 av. J.-C.). Les produits de l’agriculture forment la majorité des carporestes, notamment les blés vêtus, principaux éléments de l’alimentation.
