S’inscrivant dans une perspective de sociologie des religions, notre étude porte sur les formes organisationnelles relevant du bouddhisme de convertis et la religiosité des personnes engagées dans leurs lieux de pratique en France et en République tchèque dans le contexte de la culture de consommation. C’est l’aspect culturel de cette forme de société qui nous intéresse, à savoir le style de vie comme modèle culturel qu’elle propose et l’importance accordée à la construction identitaire.
