Researchers have revealed that RNA have significant ability undergo different modifications. RNA has an extraordinary wardrobe of chemical costumes and it has been observed that 120 different RNA modifications have been found in animal and bacterial cells, nearly 100 of which exist in humans. These modifications range from the fancy installation exotic sugars and other ring structures to the relatively mundane, such as addition of methyl groups to RNA's bases or ribose backbone.
