Objective: To analyze the temporal trend of the incidence rate of Syphilis in pregnant women in Brazil between 2009 and 2017. Method: Time series ecological study from a secondary database with information from the Notifiable Diseases Information System, which resulted in 208,216 pregnant women with syphilis. Infection incidence rates per 1000 live births (general, according to age group, according to region and according to region by age group) were calculated. The time trend was estimated using the simple linear regression method; p <0.05.
