THE ROLE OF INTERNET MEDIA IN INFORMATIONAL COUNTERACTING BETWEEN UKRAINE AND RUSSIA DURING THE WAR IN THE EAST

The article deals with the analysis of the role of online–media in political communication. It's shown that we are living in time of such concepts as "information war", "psychological operations", "information-psychological weapons", "media aggression". Therefore information security reflects not only the close relationship between media and conflict situations. The author focuses on information aspect of the conflict and says that it is also important as direct military action. There are also described the stages of the Russian Federation information war against Ukraine, using of anti-Ukraine methods of the information influence and ways of protection of Ukrainian information sphere in the article.The article deals with the analysis of the role of online–media in political communication.
