The paper discusses the relationship between the educational styles of parents and the issue of the children’s rights in families. It also highlights the influence of respecting children's rights by the parents on child’s development in early childhood. In this context the legal role of the State in providing the welfare of the child and the family is also considered. We also pay attention to the pedagogical aspects of the problem and elaborate some conclusions, relevant to the legal culture of the parents, to the child’s growth and to the relationship child – family – State.The paper discusses the relationship between the educational styles of parents and the issue of the children’s rights in families.
