Prediction of frictional losses in elastohydrodynamic lubricated contacts is of particular importance from the viewpoint of energy efficiency, thus reduced levels of emissions. There are increasingly stringent government regulations. Thus, the industry strives to identify potential losses and improve energy efficiency.
