Throughout history, the concept of mega vessels has always been the topic of relevance and the main reason for this is the constant need to lower cost in order to remain competitive within the market. This trend of constant interest for bigger and bigger vessels can be observed within all the major maritime sectors: bulk, tankers and containers. In this report, the focus will be on container vessels.
