In recent years, active fatherhood has become a more commonly discussed topic due to changing mindsets and an increased emphasis on parental involvement. Current academic research focuses on the benefits of active fatherhood on a child’s development and this study seeks to value-add to existing literature by exploring ways in which father’s involvement can be better encouraged. As such, this paper specifically focuses on the effectiveness of Parent Support Groups as a platform to enhance fatherhood involvement.
