Characterization of personality profile soccer referee in the college of referees Cundinamarca

Este trabajo se efectúa con el objetivo de caracterizar el perfil del árbitro, desde las valoraciones psicológicas de temperamento obtenidas en el colegio de árbitros de Cundinamarca. Para ésto se inicia con la descripción teórica de aspectos relevantes como lo son las generalidades de las condiciones que caracterizan la profesión de árbitro de fútbol. El perfil necesario de estos profesionales, los aspectos psicológicos que se deben contemplar en esta profesión, discriminando las clases de temperamento: en sanguíneo, colérico, flemático y melancólico, para luego diseñar y aplicar herramientas consistentes en un test psicológico y en una encuesta dirigida hacia los árbitros del colegio de árbitros de Cundinamarca. Es muy grato, para los autores comprobar como los estudiantes son conscientes de las exigencias necesarias, para ejercer la profesión del arbitraje, y por ende, conscientes que una prueba encaminada a la selección objetiva de talentos debe contemplar aspectos como: velocidad, reacción, resistencia, fortaleza mental y conocimiento, como se evidencia a lo largo del presente trabajo. La herramienta propuesta por el personal del Colegio de Árbitros de Cundinamarca, efectivamente, permite detectar jóvenes con talento, que se puedan dedicar a la práctica del arbitraje de fútbol en el ámbito nacional. Resultados: Con base en las respuestas de los encuestados se puede analizar que el perfil que se maneja con más frecuencias dentro del colegio de árbitros de Cundinamarca corresponde a las características del temperamento flemático. Como se ha dicho los mayores valores en las respuestas corresponde a las que caracterizan al temperamento flemático en todos los árbitros que respondieron el test, siendo los árbitros 3 y 7 los que más puntaje obtuvieron con 61 y 60 puntos respectivamente. Sin embargo, se debe también analizar que la clase de temperamento no remplaza la habilidad para el desempeño en las relaciones humanas, los valores morales y éticos, los buenos modales, la efectividad, o las habilidades comunicativas que según (Blasco, 2009), son tan importantes y trascendentales a la hora de decidirse la profesión.This work is carried out with the objective of characterizing the profile of the referee, from the psychological assessments of temperament obtained in the school of referees of Cundinamarca.For this begins with the theoretical description of relevant aspects such as the generalities of the conditions that characterize the profession of football referee.The necessary profile of these professionals, the psychological aspects that should be contemplated in this profession, discriminating the classes of temperament: blood, choleric, phlegmatic and melancholic, and then design and apply tools consisting of a psychological test and a survey directed towards the referees of the college of referees of Cundinamarca.It is very gratifying for the authors to see how the students are aware of the necessary requirements to exercise the profession of arbitration and therefore aware that a test aimed at the objective selection of talents must contemplate aspects such as: speed, reaction, resistance, mental strength and knowledge, as evidenced throughout the present work.The tool proposed by the staff of the Referees Association of Cundinamarca, effectively, allows the detection of young talent who can dedicate themselves to the practice of soccer refereeing at the national level.Results: Based on the answers of the respondents, it can be analyzed that the profile that is handled with more frequencies within the school of arbiters of Cundinamarca corresponds to the characteristics of the phlegmatic temperament.As has been said, the highest values in the answers correspond to those that characterize the phlegmatic temperament in all the referees who answered the test, being the referees 3 and 7 the ones that obtained the highest score with 61 and 60 points respectively.However, it should also be analyzed that the temperament class does not replace the ability to perform in human relationships, moral and ethical values, good manners, effectiveness, or communicative abilities (Blasco, 2009).
