International audienceA study was carried out to evaluate the real evapotranspiration (ET) estimated by the “Interaction among Soil-Biosphere-Atmosphere” (ISBA) model on a tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) crop, which was located at the Panguilemo Experimental Station of the Universidad de Talca (35º23’ S lat, 71°40’ W long, 110 m.o.s.l.). For that purpose, a Bowen system installed in the central part of the tomato crop was used to measure latent heat flux (LE), net radiation flux (Rn), soil heat flux (G) and sensitive heat flux (H) during 1998-1999 season.
