International audience"This paper proposes to examine the emergence and dissemination of regional public policies for Rural TerritorialDevelopment –RTD– in Latin America. We hypothesize the existence and spread of a specific Latin American modelof RTD policy. The methodology is based on the application of a common matrix analysis of RTD programs policymaking in several countries and the examination of its application in four countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile andUruguay.
