National audienceA way to study agriculture and landscape relations consists in building a map of “Agro-physiognomic Units » (UAP). Inside this map, areas are distinguished both by their agricultural land-use and by the physiognomy of the landscape. We test here the hypothesis that an element of farmers’ culture, their local conception of land-use, can be linked with UAP. To inform this issue, we have realized interviews in two villages of Pays de Thelle, Lalandelle where there are a lot of grassland, and Jouy-sous-Thelle, where there are no more.
