Programs designed for the entertainment and instruction of everone from junior to grandpa will go out to home, office and public receiving sets that already number in the thousands. Months of hard work and planning have gone into the building of the WKY-TV studios in Muncipal auditorium, and in preparing the great tower and its control rooms east of Britton. Technical and administrative staffs have been trained. No effort nor expense has been spared to give the city and state the finest and most modern TV facilities available. A mobile TV studio is ready, too in an elabortely equipped bus that can roam the far corners of the state and relay its signals to the main studio here. Radio equipment dealers in Oklahoma City and many other state cities have co-operated enthusiastically in providing sales and service. All concerned believe that Oklahoma will find this new entertainment medium as fascinating here as it has been elsewhere...
