Dr. Warren Thomas, zoo director, said plans are being made to begin move og the hooved animals in a bout a month as the pens are completed. The new area, along with the older parts of the zoo, upper right, will cover about 100 acres, when completed, Dr. Thomas said. Next project is a hippopatamus wing to the pachyderm building followed by remodeling of the giraffe building for gorillas.
