Caption: "A new 64,000-square-foot Travel and Transportation Building at the Oklahoma Stat Fair is going up at the Fairgrounds officials reported today. Officials expect the building will be ready for fair use this fall. Structural framework is visible at the fairgrounds off Stagecoach Street. Part of the white and coral structure will stand as high as 32 feet. It will be part of a combination of four buildings surrounding a courtyard containing a permanent carriage museum on the east and the new exhibit building on the west. Both the carriage museum and exhibit hall will be air-conditioned and will have a minimum of 20 feet of height avaliable inside. The buildings will also have high intensity lighting. Destined to disappear from view behind the buildings will be the antique railroad locomotive, two missiles and a courtyard of trees and shrubs.
