Caption: "Crunching Debris at the southwest corner of Reno and California is a piece of equipment involved in demolition of an entire block of buildings. The block between Sheridan and California from Hudson to Walker is coming down to make way for the new Mummers Theater. Demolition is being done under a contract with the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority which will set the cleared site to the Mummers. Bids on construction of the new theater are to be taken December 3. This picture looks toward the northeast with familiar skyline buildings in the background.
