Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "The Oklahoma City Civic Ballet unwrapped a traditional holiday package Sunday in the matinee performance of "Nutcracker." The Tchaikovsky ballet was making its third successive season appearnce on the local scene. From a performance and a technical point of view, the results proved to be generally speaking the best production to date. The Municipal Auditorium stage, bedecked with such holiday treats as tiny mice, wooden soldiers, dew drops and candy flowers, provided a proper atmosphere in which to place the dancing talent of twwo distiguished guest artists. Young Bruce Marks, premier danseur of the American Ballet Theater, gave a first rate performance in dancing the roles of the Prince and the Cavlier. He is an experienced male danseur of the first order displaying at all times a very agile technique. Toni Lander and Bruce Marks…a first rate performance.
