A three-alarm blaze leveled a four-story building, damaged two others and endangered several more at the Oklahoma City stockyards Monday night. Damage was estimated at between $75,000 and $100,000. Destroyed was the maintenance building of unoccupied Armour and Co. Twenty units of firefighting equipment were deployed to contain the fire. First alarm went in at 8:15 p.m. Firemen arriving at the scene sounded the second alarm at 8:17 and the third at 8:19. Sparks, Cinders Drift Firemen battled for more than 2 1/2 hours to contain the blaze in the Armour building, located just west of the "kill" and cold storage buildings. Two adjacent structures were damaged......Sparks endangered Wilson & Co. buildings on the west, and a huge mule barn about 400 yards northwest.
