The map shows current status of land acquistion for the reservoir that will be bigger than Lakes Hefner and Overholser combines. the earthen dam, to be built in two sections, will be 7,950 feet long and cost more than $4 million. A 17-mile service road will be built around the reservoir which will be used for public recreation as well as water storage.
