There were no other casulties as the pilot, in an apperant heroic decision that cost him his life, guided the twin-engine craft away from nearby houses and into the field northeast of Reno and Douglas Blvd. The site where the crash occured is surrounded by heavily-populated residential areas, a shopping center and school.
