Caption: "West Bypass threads its way just north of the NW 39 Expressway along a path that will eventually link it with Memorial Road on the north and Dead Man's Curve (I-240) on the south. Construction is nearing completion on the section between the NW 39 Expressway and I-40, with this stretch scheduled to be opened to traffic early next year. The bridge at bottom of photo is NW 36 and the one at center is NW 39 Expressway. the bypass, as it now stands, leads directly into Grand Blvd., just north of NW 39 Expressway.
