Data from a cross-sectional growth study is presented of2559 Aruban children aged 0-14 years. The study was carried out in 1973 and 1974 following the methodology recommended by the International Biological Program. Height, weight and sitting height in 1974 were compared to the values found in 1954 by Steenmeyer in a similar group of children aged 4-18 years. It is found that a secular growth change has taken place between 1954 and 1974 on Aruba. But growth still lags behind the Dutch curves for height and weight in 1965
