A (re)produção do espaço urbano na porção sul de Paraíso do Tocantins - TO

In the last ten years, several socio-spatial transformations have been reproduced in the city of Paraíso do Tocantins, intensified, mainly, by the production of new land subdivisions, which appear increasingly distant from the central core of the city. In addition to the large supply, a well-located accumulation of land and an infrastructure resource associated with the segregation of lower classes, creating similar expulsion effects in large cities. Based on this understanding, this work aims to analyze the process of (re) production of urban space in the southern portion of the city of Paraíso do Tocantins as a way of understanding the socio-spatial logic resulting from the emergence of urban subdivisions in the last ten years, identifying its main agents of production and resulting socio-spatial contradictions. In order to do so, it establishes a broad specialized bibliographical revision, dialoguing, fundamentally, with theories of the social production of space and the reproduction of urban space, analysis of the historical conjuncture that underlies the production processes in the city besides the documentary investigation of the legislations that affect urban planning It is understood that the speculative and segregating urban expansion currently occurring in the municipality of Paraíso do Tocantins is explained by a set of interconnected factors, of which the fact that it is the municipality located in the BR-153 axis closest to the capital Palmas, as well as the conditions created by the State through legislative frameworks for urban planning. It is concluded from this interpretative exercise that the reproduction of urban space in a small city obeys the same determinants of capitalist accumulation based on the income of the land of medium and large citiesNos últimos dez anos, diversas transformações socioespaciais foram reproduzidas na cidade de Paraíso do Tocantins, intensificadas, sobretudo, pelo aumento na produção de novos loteamentos, os quais surgem cada vez mais distante do núcleo central da cidade. Para além da grande oferta, a acumulação da terra bem localizada e provida de infraestrutura acirrou a segregação das classes mais baixas, criando efeitos de expulsão semelhantes às grandes cidades. Baseado nesse entendimento, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o processo de (re)produção do espaço urbano na porção sul da cidade de Paraíso do Tocantins como forma de compreender a lógica socioespacial decorrente do surgimento dos loteamentos para fins urbanos nos últimos dez anos, identificando seus principais agentes de produção e contradições socioespaciais resultantes. Para tanto, estabelece revisão bibliográfica especializada, dialogando fundamentalmente com as teorias da produção social do espaço e da reprodução do espaço urbano, análise da conjuntura histórica que alicerça os processos de produção na cidade, além da investigação documental das legislações que incidem sobre o planejamento urbano. Compreende-se que a expansão urbana especulativa e segregadora que ocorre atualmente no município de Paraíso do Tocantins se explica por um conjunto de fatores interligados, dos quais se destacam o fato de ser o município situado no eixo da BR-153 mais próximo da capital Palmas, bem como as condições criadas pelo Estado através dos marcos legislativos voltados ao ordenamento urbano. Conclui-se desse exercício interpretativo que a reprodução do espaço urbano numa cidade pequena obedece aos mesmos determinantes da acumulação capitalista com base na renda da terra de cidades médias e grandes
