Evaluation of textbooks: Developing listening skills

In the theoretical part, firstly, the bachelor thesis focuses on what the textbook functions in the teaching-learning process concerning developing listening skills are. Secondly, the listening presentation and practice in textbooks is elaborated on. Lastly, the evaluation criteria established in the form of a checklist are presented at the end of the theoretical part. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the selected textbooks are being evaluated, taking the range of questions covered in the comprehensive checklist into account.Cílem bakalářské práce je prozkoumat roli a funkce učebnice v procesu osvojování cizího jazyka, specificky pak její využití pro rozvoj řečové dovednosti poslech ve výuce anglického jazyka. V první, teoretické části práce je vymezena roli a postavení učebnice ve výchovně-vzdělávacím procesu ve vztahu k rozvoji poslechu ve výuce anglického jazyka. Na základě teoretické části práce, respektive stanovení kritérií umožňujících hodnotit učebnice z perspektivy rozvoje poslechu, bude v praktické, druhé části práce provede hloubková analýza a hodnocení vybraných učebnic.Katedra anglistiky a amerikanistik
