Práce je založena na terénním výzkumu uvnitř nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež. Autorka zkoumá vztahy aktérů v této instituci, roli moci a sociální kontroly a souvisejících konceptů jako je například stigmatizace. Používá k tomu především zúčastněné pozorování a neformální rozhovory.The work is based on a fieldwork done inside the low-threshold center for children and youth. The author examines the relations of the participants in this institution, role of power, social control and related concepts such as stigmatization.
