BIMBINGAN ROHANI ISLAM DALAM MENGURANGI KECEMASAN MENGHADAPI KEMATIAN PADA LANSIA

Elderly is one of the many individuals who experience a decline, both in terms of physical, psychological, and social. The elderly are also identical with the name of death.In the face of death they often experience anxiety and even fear because death is a certainty but its arrival is still difficult to know. Therefore, we need a service that can provide a picture related to death and life afterwards in order to reduce anxiety and fear. Islamic spiritual guidance is one service that is suitable to assist the elderly in responding to death because through Islamic spiritual guidance the elderly can know the picture of death and can get practices that can be used to deal with death so that they die in good condition. The research used is qualitative research. Data is collected by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the Head of Social Protection and Social Security Section, namely Mr. Sri Harjanta, SE, Members of the Social Protection and Security Section, namely Mr. Suprana, two Islamic Spiritual Guides, namely Mr. Mukhlasin and Mrs. Fajar Fathonah, and five elderly people aged 65 years and above, are female, and follow the Islamic spiritual guidance.The object of his research is the Islamic spiritual guidance method in reducing anxiety facing death in the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the Islamic spiritual guidance method in reducing anxiety facing death in Tresna Werdha Budi Luhur Social Service Center in Bangunjiwo Hamlet, Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region Of Yogyakarta. The results of his research are that there is only one method, namely the direct guidance method which consists of lecture, question and answer, and personal conversation. Islamic spiritual guidance is also able to reduce the anxiety of facing death at the Tresna Werdha Budi Luhur Social Services Center Bangunjiwo Hamlet, Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakart
