Principais desafios no ensino inclusivo de ciências: perspectiva dos professores do ensino básico

Basic education, in general, presents a series of tasks that are discussed, evaluated and reorganized for greater efficiency in the teaching-learning process. Within a national context marked by inequality, the school has a fundamental role in the formation of citizenship of all its members, that is, students, employees, teachers and managers. Discussions on inclusive practices have become more intense as they have emerged through policies aimed at this audience. Special Education has emerged with the aim of creating inclusive pedagogical skills and, in addition, training teachers in the disciplines of teaching children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). However, teaching all public needs, inclusive science education is still a major challenge in teacher practice, since the teacher must respect and empower as the skills of each individual. This study has to ascertain the occurrence by science teachers of the municipal network of education of João Pessoa - PB, make use of inclusive methodologies. It was characterized as a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data collection was done with teachers from seven municipal schools of João Pessoa through a series containing 22 questions. Data were tabulated and retrieved using the content analysis method. Ten teachers working in the municipal education network participated in the study. Most teachers, 50% have completed their undergraduate courses at the UFPB and most teachers state that they are not satisfied with the subjects of their initial career. The main dissatisfactions are referring to the superficiality in approaching them. Related to the difficulties in teaching practice, the majority stated that the exhaustive workload of work makes difficult the elaboration of new methods and materials for an inclusive practice. On the approaches already used in inclusive education, digital resources were cited. When asked about alternatives to the teaching-learning process of the public SEN support, reduction of the workload and reduction of the number of students in the classroom were the most results for teachers. When asked about the training courses for their professional career in the Special Education period, most teachers can not fail to comment with the courses. Finally, it is concluded that the subjects offered in the Special Education undergraduate program are insufficient for the future teacher to be able to develop inclusive classes and that exhaustive working days are limiting in the planning of inclusive classes and in the elaboration of didactic materials that will help in the teaching-learning process of students with SEN.O ensino público brasileiro, de modo geral, apresenta uma série de dificuldades que necessitam ser discutidas, avaliadas e reorganizadas para garantir uma maior eficiência no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Dentro de um contexto nacional marcado por desigualdade, a escola tem um papel fundamental na formação cidadã de todos os seus integrantes, ou seja, alunos, funcionários, professores e gestores. Os debates sobre as práticas inclusivas ficaram mais intensos visto que surgiram políticas públicas direcionadas para esse público. A Educação Especial surgiu com o intuito de criar estratégias pedagógicas de cunho inclusivo e, além disso, capacitar funcionários e professores para lidar com alunos com Necessidades Educacionais Especiais (NEE) variadas. Entretanto, apesar de todas as políticas públicas envolvidas, o ensino inclusivo de ciências ainda é um grande desafio na prática docente, visto que o professor deve respeitar e potencializar as habilidades de cada indivíduo. Este trabalho teve o objetivo de averiguar a ocorrência da inclusão pelos docentes de Ciências, da rede municipal de ensino de João Pessoa – PB, e como fazem a utilização de metodologias inclusivas. Caracterizou-se como uma abordagem de cunho Qualitativo e Quantitativo. A coleta de dados foi realizada com os professores de sete escolas da rede municipal de ensino de João Pessoa através de questionário contendo 22 questões. Os dados foram tabulados e analisados utilizando o método de análise de conteúdo. Participaram da pesquisa 10 docentes atuantes na rede municipal de ensino. Dentre os professores, 50% concluíram seus cursos de graduação na UFPB e a maioria dos professores declarou que não estão satisfeitos com as disciplinas ofertadas na sua formação inicial. As principais insatisfações são referentes à superficialidade na abordagem das mesmas. Relacionado às dificuldades na prática docente, a maioria afirmou que a carga horária exaustiva de trabalho dificulta na elaboração de novos métodos e materiais para a prática inclusiva. Os recursos digitais foram citados nas abordagens já utilizadas no ensino inclusivo. Quando questionados sobre alternativas para facilitar o processo de ensinoaprendizagem do público NEE, o apoio, a redução da carga horária e a diminuição do número de alunos em sala de aula foram os mais mencionados pelos professores. Questionou-se sobre a relação entre os professores e os apoiadores/intérpretes. A maioria dos professores afirmou que não procuram ajuda desses profissionais para organizar e planejar suas aulas. Quando questionados sobre as contribuições dos cursos de capacitação para sua carreira profissional no âmbito da Educação Especial, a maioria dos professores não apresentou comentários favoráveis aos cursos. Por fim, conclui-se que as disciplinas ofertadas na graduação sobre Educação Especial são insuficientes para que o futuro professor seja capaz de desenvolver aulas inclusivas e que jornadas de trabalho exaustivas são limitantes no planejamento de aulas inclusivas e na elaboração de materiais didáticos que vão auxiliar no processo de ensino-aprendizagem dos alunos com NEE
