The present work is based on an urban analysis of the city of Alagoa Grande-PB, the same one that suffered with the occurrence of an environmental disaster caused by the rupture of the Camará Dam in 2004, it has been presenting years, a significant transformation in its landscape. The research has as main objective, to describe the several modifications that took place in the scope of the city, for that it was used the following methodological procedures: unstructured interview, as a way to understand the space from the perception of the inhabitants themselves about the transformations in their City; bibliographical survey to learn about the formation of the urban space of Alagoa Grande and, finally, field visits to conduct photogr...
