Fisioterapia no paciente com doença de alzheimer em cuidados paliativos: uma revisão integrativa

This study has as objective to analyze scientific evidence about physiotherapeutic treatment in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) in palliative care (PC). It is therefore an integrative review, with data collection through database searching American National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) databases; Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Google Scholar and Periodicals CAPES, using the following descriptors “palliative care” AND “physiotherapy” AND “Alzheimer”. It was verified that combined methods between training and cognitive stimulation, reality orientation, kinesiotherapy, reminiscence therapy and music therapy influenced the improvement of the functional capacity of the individual with AD in PC. Attention is paid to the relevance of integrated physicaltherapy the multidisciplinary team in assisting patients with CP with AD, and should draw up a specific care plan for each phase of the disease.NenhumaEste estudo tem como objetivo analisar evidências científicas acerca do tratamento fisioterapêutico em pacientes com Doença de Alzheimer (DA) em cuidados paliativos (CP). Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, com coleta de dados através de pesquisa nas bases de dados American National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO); Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Google Acadêmico e Periódicos CAPES, utilizando os seguintes descritores “cuidados paliativos” AND “fisioterapia” AND “Alzheimer”. Constatou-se que métodos combinados entre treinamento e estimulação cognitiva, orientação de realidade, cinesioterapia e terapia de reminiscência influenciaram na melhora da capacidade funcional do indivíduo portador de DA em CP. Atenta-se para a relevância da fisioterapia integrada à equipe multiprofissional na assistência ao paciente em CP com DA, devendo traçar um plano de cuidado específico para cada fase da doença
