In the course of metals treatment, there occurs a direct interaction of a tool with the processed material. It is connected with occurrence of different physio-mechanical processes significantly influencing the material’s properties, among the others such as the surface’s roughness. An attempt to estimate the shaped material’s surface in the course of the ECM process based on the measurements of the high-potential plate’s oscillations, is presented in the article
