The objectives of this study were first, to examine the attitudes of L.D.S. (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; also commonly known as the Mormon Church) senior citizens living within the city limits of Logan, Utah regarding certain of their personal adjustments during old age (a personal adjustment score was derived from a scale developed by Cavan, Burgess, Havighurst and Goldhammer, 1949); and second, to determine whether selected variables were related to these attitudes toward personal adjustment.
