The kinetics and mechanisms of polymer crystallization and the resultant crystalline morophologies have been justifiably the focus of much scientific attention. This attention was generated not only from the intrinsic scientific interest in crystallization phenomena, but also from the fact that the properties of fabricated materials depend in large part upon the crystallinities within them.
