Placental hemangiomas are known as chorangioma. They are found in 1% of pregnancies. Mostly, they are in small diameters, therefore they are asymptomatic and have no clinical importance. Large chorangiomas may contribute to complications such as polyhydroamnios, premature birth, placenta previa and hemorrhage. A Primigravida patient with preeclampsia applied to radiology department for obstetric ultrasonography imaging. The chorangioma was diagnosed on sonography. Detailed examination was performed for accompanying pathology. Umbilical cord was slightly large. Large plasental chorangioma associated with the dilatation of the umbilical cord examined.
