7th International Congress on Hazelnut -- OCT 31, 2009 -- Viterbo, ITALYWOS: 000305695500004This study was carried out to determine some nut and kernel characteristics of clones of 'Tombul' hazelnut cultivars grown in villages of Bulancak in the province of Giresun in the years 2005-2006. The clones had nut weights between 1.76-2.40 g, kernel weights between 0.95-1.16 g, shell thickness between 0.67-1.20 mm, nut number per cluster between 3.08-4.15 number/cluster, nut size between 16.34-18.57 mm, kernel size between 12.86-13.62 mm and kernel cavity between 1.54-2.69 mm.
