WOS: 000362120900018Arteriovenous fistulas for hemodialysis are usually open in the upper extremity. For patients with thrombosed arteriovenous fistulas in this area, alternative fistula access routes are needed. AVF creation with a saphenous vein graft is an alternative hemodialysis access method in the patient who has lost the chance of fistula creation with his native vessels. The aim of this case report is to discuss AV fistula management with a saphenous vein graft between the brachial artery and basilic vein in a hemodialysis-dependent patient. In this patient previous fistulas were thrombosed and the native vessels in the upper extremity vessels were not suitable for a new AV fistula creation
