WOS: 000304504800016The aim of this study is to determine what the teachers' views on the alternative measurement and assessment methods in the new mathematics program, which has been applied at Level II since the academic year of 2006-2007 as well as the issues encountered during the application. In the study was used the special-case research method. The data of the research were obtained from twenty (20) teachers through the interview method. The population of the study includes the public elementary-schools in the province of Giresun and in the neighboring towns in Fall-Semester in the academic year of 2010 and 2011.
