The article considers the ecological and economical problems of modern Ukrainian cities and the opportunities of their solving on the basis of energy conservation way of development. There are analyzed the main organizational and economical problems of municipal economy ecologization, the perspective directions of problems` solving for Ukrainian cities with the instruction of concrete actions for directions and potential executors of actions are proposed.
